Standing Committees

The standing committee is considered as the permanent panels related or legislature and are considered as the decision makers in the Parliament regarding any definite fact in the country. Several categories of the areas are viewed and maintained by the standing committees as the aging, nutrition and agriculture as well as forestry, appropriations, services based on armed forces as well as the housing, banking and the urban affairs while determining the main aspect that is the budget related problems. The work done by them is not only in the way of voluminous but also in the way of complex nature that has been carried out in the committees related to Parliament.

Overview of the Standing committees of the parliament

The standing committee is undertaken by the members determined in the committee consisting of the members of the Parliament. Classification of the standing committees related to parliament

Determined by the factors of the work division as well as the choice of people the standing committee can be determined by the factors of aging, nutrition and agriculture as well as forestry, appropriations, services based on armed forces as well as the housing, banking and the urban affairs as well as the budgeting when any big project is undertaken. Yet several other major classifications can be considered as the Rajya sabha standing committee, Lok sabha standing committee, departmentally related committee under the Rajya sabha as the  same as departmentally related committee under the Lok sabha while these are majorly seen in the Indian constitution. For the United States committee the classification is done on the basis of the functions like the Committee for incurring, Committee for the scrutinizing as well as controlling, day to day related business assurance committee, as well as the house keeping based committees. 

Analysis of the work done by the standing committees

Most of the standing committees have been recommended by the levels of funding. At the beginning of each and every congress the membership is assured where a single individual cannot serve more than two committees or the same as four subcommittees at a single time. The senators are also controlled according to these rules as they are also not allowed to be present in more than three committees and are also limited to five subcommittees. Thus this committee is considered a regular as well as permanent committee that has been constituted based on “time to time” basically according to the act related to the provision of the “Act of the Parliament ”.

It can be concluded from the above research that determined by the factors of the work division as well as the choice of people the standing committee can be divided into several factors based on the country’s problems. The problems must be considered and the definite work must be done by the committees regarding the country’s benefits and also to maintain peace in the country. Maintaining the rules as possessed in the standing committee through the “Act of the Parliament” or the “Rules based on the Procedures as well as the Business conduction” more and more members are to be undertaken that is nearly 30 more members sop that the chaos in the decision making is reduced and the job is assigned on the respective fields to take care of besides assigning several areas to the same individual and pressuring themselves.
