Introduction
This study is about the mutual delegation of function which is a division of the power between the union and states. This delegation process is divided into different types which are discussed in the study briefly. The distribution process of the executive power follows the distribution process of the legislative power. The process of mutual delegation is completed with the help of the intra-government delegation process. The mutual delegation of the function which is administrative happens in two ways, one conditional and another unconditional. Delegation is such a process that is described as the process of division of responsibility or authority. This study is about delegation and mutual delegation. This may help to understand the mutual delegation process and different types of delegation.

Delegation
Delegation is defined as the process of shifting responsibility and authority for any particular function, decision or task from one person to another person. The process has some characteristics which are not an abdication of personal responsibility. The delegation process does not involve the people to tell them what to do. The delegation process helps to explain the results and outcomes of the functions which may be expected to achieve. The delegation process always takes time and runs by following a planning process and giving full efforts to the work. The delegation process is different in every different situation and the leader must detect the appropriate process which has to follow in the undergoing situation.
The process of delegation happens with the help of the strength and passion of the leader and this may help to complete the task and responsibility. Delegation helps to lead the mission and responsibility and complete the task in the targeted time. Delegation is such a process that is run to complete the targeted job of the specific purpose in a specific time. The delegation process is done to get the appropriate and specific results of one responsibility or job. This is also defined as an organizational management process that is used to distribute the work among the employees of an organization.
Type of delegation
There are various types of delegation found in authority as the authority is influenced by various types of external factors. Different types are applicable in different types of situations and different types of authority. This study discusses different types of the delegation process and those processes are;
Full and half delegation process: This delegation process is the way that helps one person to delegate their authority with the help of others. Half delegation process determines the idea of sharing a decision. Half delegation process has some risk so the authorities try to avoid this delegation and follow the full delegation process.
Formal or informal delegation: the formal delegation is an important part of the structure of the organisation and this is distributed by the authority. This type of delegation process is a part of the organisation which helps in the normal functioning of the authority. The informal delegation process arises according to the circumstances but does not arise through the positions of authority. Formal delegation is the duties that are given to every person of the authority by the authority.
General or specific delegation: The performance of authority that covers the planning, directing and organising process is under the general delegation. Besides this, the specific delegation is covering the area of any particular job which is covered for any targeted and assigned job. The general responsibility and their delegation are called the specific or general delegation of the authority.
Mutual delegation Function
Mutual distribution of the functions happens in the centre and states and the state government may consent with the central government for running executive functions. Mutual delegation function is defined as the executive power distribution between the states and the union. There are three delegating powers that are used in the mutual distribution of the delegation. Those three powers are implied power, enumerated powers and inherent power and that help the authority to mutually distribute the fountains in the authority. The distribution or delegation of the power happens with the help of the concurrent list, state list and union list and this is determined with the help of Indian-polity-2. This mutual distribution process may help the state and central to understand their functions in the authority and there is no confusion between the distributed jobs. The distribution of the responsibility in the authority or state helps to complete the task.
Mutual delegation of the authority helps the authority to determine the appropriate and separate responsibility for every person of the authority. This mutual distribution process helps to delegate the power of the union and states of the administrative process.
