Liberty

Liberty is described as freedom while maintaining rights and immunity while the oppressive restrictions are negated with respect to life, behaviour and political views. The Indian constitution has regulated the social agenda for pursuing the governmental objective.

The main idea of Indian liberty and its nations has been to establish the rights of Indian citizens. It has been expressed with Article 21 of the Indian constitution. “The Right of liberty” has strived to provide for the detained to apply all forms of rights where people are deprived. The Preamble has proclaimed to establish liberty in the federal government. This law has extended to pursue the restricted objectives of the government. The main idea has referred to the freedom of an individual not only from physical restraints but also the ability to act according to their own accord. The law has described liberty in international life and other political life in India.    

Political life in Liberty

Individuals have the right to engage in government through voting and holding public office, which is known as political liberty. Every citizen of India is guaranteed liberty by the Preamble of the Indian Constitution. The concept of liberty refers to the freedom that Indian citizens have in their daily lives. Because it impacts the key elements of an individual’s bodily freedom, the right to personal liberty is one of the most fundamental human rights. 

  • Political liberty, according to the Indian constitution, indicates that people have rights such as the ability to vote, run for office, criticise and oppose the government, and alter the government by constitutional procedures. The government has regulated the goods consumed by the free market and their viewpoints. 
  • The Indian constitution begins with justice, and the justice in question is for and about liberty, which endures for the good of the constitution and the public, ensuring that every kind of remedy for a person’s liberty is applied..
  • It is the position that helps to create the necessary opportunity to address the individual’s needs and social conditions.   

Liberty of  Life

  • Liberty in India guarantees the civil rights of the citizens of India where they are protected by the constitution and the law. . 
  • Civil liberties generally include notions like freedom of thoughts, freedom to access and publish information, freedom to choose their religions, right for personal privacy etc.
  • The liberty of life provides the citizen with their own independence where they can freely interact with other people by staying within the limits of the constitution and law.
  • India is a country, which supports people of multi-ethnicity, religions and backgrounds. Every person is thriving in the country with communal harmony and peace and no one interferes with the civil rights of the other people.   

Liberty International

  • Liberty in the International aspect has the same values as stated above. However, this liberty is not practised in each country across the world.
  • Liberty in India has set core values in the people. This is the reason why the people who are residing outside India or are going outside the country present values and values of liberty. 
  • India has scored 34 out of 40 in political liberty last year in 2021 and 37 out of 60 in civil liberties.
  • The government allows the people to go for an electoral process for electing their leaders.
  •  Executive elections and the procedures for the selection of leaders are free and fair. The leader of the country is the one who gains the majority of votes and forms the majority in the Lok Sabha (House of people). 
  • A wide network of parties exists in the country that allows the people to enjoy their rights and does not pressurise any people to vote for them. 
  • Participation in politics is also liberalised in the country and people from every segment can participate in the process. This can include women, teenagers who are above 18 and have gained the right to vote. 
  • At international level, India is the epitome of supporting people from multiple cultures and beliefs. It is the country that is the homeland of people from different religions that are enjoying their liberalised rights.

It has been concluded that the Indian government has been established to activate the rights of Indian nations. It is expressed to follow their thoughts so that they can maintain their action. “The Preamble of the Constitution of India” has guaranteed the Indian and their nations of their rights to freedom. It is the most used and popular “fundamental human rights” that have been addressed with these regulatory actions. The idea has referred to maintaining physical freedom so that it can maintain individual rights. The law has extended to conduct the individual pursuit of the objectives. It has accomplished freedom so that it can concern the justice of the polity.
