LEGISLATIVE POWER

This study has highlighted the legislative power of parliament implemented in different sectors which include industrial act, health and safety rules in the industry.

The legislative power of parliament provides some special power to the union government of India to quick decision-making in the implementation of different rules and regulations. These rules and regulations may be reloaded to economic affairs, home affairs, internal security and safety, defence, and international treaties. 

Legislative power in India is very vital to maintain the laws of the constitution. In the Indian constitution, many subjects are included, responsibilities are divided in state government, central government, and some are kept in the concurrent list. This is happening in some special conditions which are: 

The legislative power of parliament 

Legislative power of government lies within the federal government of India. Legislative power of parliament gives some special power to the federal government to take action on different internal activities. Legislative power of parliament includes some laws which are implemented across the country. Legislative power of parliament in India capacity of a legislative chamber or member of legislative chamber which encourages and enforces the taking action on others.  Legislative power is mainly associated with the distribution of power between the central government and different state governments. Legislative power of parliament gives some special power to the central government where governments implement strict rules and regulation if there are any kinds of unexpected situations raised in any state of the country. It is one of the most important factors for running a successful federal government in the country.

 Federal government implements the legislative power of parliament when law and order totally fails in this country. Legislative power of parliament consists of the composition of the council of states which is generally known as Rajya Shava and the composition of the house of the people which is generally known as Lok Sabha. Legislative power of parliament in India gives the right to the president of India to address and send messages to the houses of parliament and houses of council. It gives some power to the president of India if there are any kinds of unexpected situations that arise in India. Legislative power of parliaments gives the government some special power with the help of this they can make policies in different sectors. With the help of this power, the government can change laws, rules and regulation in the country. 

Legislative power of parliaments gives some special power to the government with the help of this power. The government can do international treaties with the other countries which is very vital in maintaining relations with foreign countries. It gives some power to the government which is very crucial for the government in quick decision making in international matters. In this case the government doesn’t need any kind of bill passed in the parliament.  Legislative power gives special power to the federal government in any kind of decision making related to enemy countries where the government is not necessary to pass any kinds of bills in the parliament. Legislative power allows the government to take decisions on any kind of defence deals with the other countries and gives power in economic activities in the country. 

The legislative power of the central government of India is to provide national emergency throughout the country if a country faces a war situation. This is special power provided to the central government when countries face tough situations like war, financial crisis, and many other problems. In this situation, no media or newspaper should be allowed to cover any news that criticises government activities and national interest. In this situation, many people do not gather in any location. It becomes a punishable offence when more people gather together in any place. The legislative power of parliament also implements the president’s rule in any state if the rules and regulations of any state are failed.   It is also implemented by the central government when an internal disturbance is at its peak level. 

The legislative power of the Indian government budget

The legislative power of parliament also provides much power to the government to shape the annual budget of the country. Legislators of the Indian parliament adopt annual budgets when discussion and debate are done among different political parties related to the different types of activities related to the budgets. With the help of the Legislative power of parliament, the government introduced the government saving promotional general rules, 2018. In this role of budgets, the government introduced many social welfare schemes for the citizens of India which helps them in social and economic prosperity.

Based on the above discussion it can be concluded the legislative power of parliament provides some special power to the government. With the help of this power, the government introduced different rules and regulations which are necessary to maintain harmony in every sector across the country. The legislative power of parliament helps the government in reducing internal disturbance across the country. It is one of the most important factors which maintain social harmony under the rules implemented by the government. Several acts related to Budgets and industrial wages ensure the social and economical security of the citizens of India.
