The concept of polity is generally developed by a group of people who under an institution function in a proper manner and lead to the development of the society to a great extent. In order to function properly, the development and setup of the composition is of vital importance. It is governed by a parliamentary system as a Sovereign Socialist Secular Democratic Republic. The Constitution of India, which was enacted by the Constituent Assembly on November 26, 1949 and came into force on January 26, 1950, governs the Republic. The constitution has ensured the protection of the rights of the citizens of the country. It has also taken care that no single citizen is discriminated against by any factor. This constitution which is the central embodied document for the protection of rights is the single document which also contains the details of laws which are helpful in running the political process of the country. The constitution of India was written by Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar and was adopted by the constituent assembly in the year 1949. However, it came into effect on January 26, 1950.
Compositions related to polity
The afore-mentioned area suggested that the enactment of the sphere of composition is vitally important as it enables the proper working of the polity in general. The compositions of the government other than the members are those consisting of a preamble and articles that are 470 in number. These articles have gone through amendments about 104 times.
