WBCS Exam Pattern

The West Bengal State Civil Services examination, known as the WBCS Exam, is administered by the West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC). The test is held once a year or when the commission announces the date. The examination takes place in three stages namely, preliminary, mains and interview. The preliminary examination consists of objective multiple choice questions (MCQ). The main examination has both conventional type and objective multiple choice questions (MCQ) type. The candidates are shortlisted based on the marks acquired in Mains exams and personal interview.
