  • In this field, an example can be drawn for this present matter just like ‘4’ and ‘9’ are two numbers here and the mean proportion of the two numbers is ‘6’. Another example of this matter is that ‘3’ and ‘12’ are the two numbers and the mean proportion of these two numbers will be ‘6’.  
  • In the field of mathematics there are various kinds of use of the square root and one of the square roots has been used for finding the mean proportional between two numbers. This can be performed in a different way for finding the square root or the mean proportion of the numbers.  
  • It can be performed like this- the multiplication of the two given numbers and then extracting the square root of the multiplication of these numbers. Then the mean proportionality can be found like two numbers are ‘2’ and ‘32’ and their multiplication is ‘64’ and the square root is ‘8’ and it is the mean proportionality of the numbers. 
  • It can be said that square root also indicates the “4th” or “8th” or “16th root” of any power whose index has the power of number ‘2’.

There are “Fourth proportional”, “Third proportional”, and the “Mean proportional”. The main attraction of the present topic is the mean proportional. All the various kinds of proportionality can be described with the application of proper mathematical calculation. 
  • Fourth proportionality is considered to be the proportionality of four qualities such as a: b = c: d and in this statement, the quantity ‘is considered to be the fourth proportional to the quantities a, b, and c. This is the definition of the fourth proportional from various proportions. 
  • In this sense, the definition of the third proportion can be given. It is like a:b = c:d and in this field, the quantity ‘c’ is considered to be the third proportion of the qualities a, b, and d. This is another proportional field of proportion and also developed the field of mathematics with calculation.   
  • The most important proportionality and the main attraction of this study are the mean proportional and it is very necessary for mathematical calculation. It mainly means the multiplication of the given numbers and then extracting the square root from them.   

Process of finding mean proportion

  • It can be said that there is only one way or formula that helps in extracting the mean proportion. The formula is nothing but the square root of the product of the numbers. Although it can be seen that the formula or process have different ways of them that help on the mean calculation. 
  • The present study can be described with the application of the formula it has and various examples can be given here. The process can be described like this such as ‘4’ and ‘9’ are two numbers and at the very first the multiplication of the two numbers will have to be done and it is ‘36’. The next step is to take the square root of the multiplication and it is the ‘6’ and it is the mean proportional of the two numbers ‘4’ and ‘9’. 
  • Therefore, it can be mentioned that this is the way of calculation or process of finding the mean proportion of the given numbers. This way helps in the calculation of the present proportional with its proper application.
