Every year in Hawaii, Spam Jam is a much-anticipated fun and frolic event. Spam Jam 2021 was the world’s most thrilling and entertaining festival. Spam cuisine from various restaurants, as well as unique activities, were featured during the Spam Jam festival in Hawaii. The international festival was sponsored by the Outrigger hotels and restaurants, Alaska Airlines, Seven Hawaii, The Queen’s Health System, Hawaii Tourism Authority, Parking Delivery Marketplace, International Marketplace, and Waikiki Beach Qalk. The festival featured many unique events. It also benefited the Hawaii Food Bank, the Waikiki Community Centre, and the Hawaii Visitor Aloha Society.
About the Event
Food festivals are held practically every weekend all around the world. The SPAM festival in Hawaii is unlike any other. There has never been anything like it.
The Waikiki SPAM JAM® is a cultural institution and one of Hawaii’s most popular culinary events. The Waikiki SPAM JAM event became a restaurant week for SPAM fans from April 22 to May 1, 2021. Participating establishments served SPAM meals during the promotion.
SPAM® was first created by Hormel Foods in 1937, and Hawaii consumes more per capita than any other state in the country. Every year, about seven million SPAM® cans are consumed in Hawaii. The website includes information about menu items, special events, parking, and other topics.
Visitors who wish to go there can enjoy up to a 20% discount at the hotels. As a sponsor, Outrigger hotels and resorts provide discounts to Waikiki Spam Jam attendees. Some properties with low prices are Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort, Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort, and OHANA Waikiki East by Outrigger.

Waikiki SPAM JAM® Festival 2021 included three festivals in Waikiki’s major commercial malls.

May 1st, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The Royal Hawaiian Centre
Each event had a Waikiki SPAM JAM® T-Shirt and Logo Goods store, appearances by SPAM® Characters SPAMMY and MUSU, varied performances, and other activities. There are no admission prices to attend the activities.

Hawaii Foodbank
Feeding America’s Hawaii affiliate is Hawaii Foodbank, an organisation. On Oahu and Kauai, the Hawaii Foodbank collects, stores, and distributes large amounts of perishable and nonperishable food. Aside from the Hawaii Foodbank, neighbouring food banks on the Big Island and Maui also provide hunger relief.
With its feeding programs, the Hawaii Foodbank connects food donors to food pantries, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, domestic abuse shelters, and rehabilitation centres. In addition to providing financial assistance and education, the Hawaii Foodbank offers food assistance to its network of member agencies.
Waikiki Community Centre
With its 40 years of service, the Waikiki Community Centre (WCC) has helped Keiki, Kupuna, visitors, and people in need in the Waikiki community.
They offer various programs that keep seniors active and healthy. They also have scholarships for pre-K aged children from low-income families. WCC has been able to help over 95,000 people, and over 20,000 individuals receive services annually.
The WCC aims at providing equal access to health, happiness, and the pleasures of life to all people of Hawaii.

Originally known as the Visitor Aloha Society of Hawaii, the Rotary Club of Honolulu was founded in 1997. It provides aloha to Hawaii visitors who have been victims of crime, injury, and other adversities. Visitor Aloha Society of Hawaii recruits, trains, and manages volunteers to ensure that tourists have a happy memory of their vacation in Hawaii, regardless of any negative experiences they might have had.
Hawaii Tourism Authority and individual donors support the non-profit Visitor Aloha Society of Hawaii.
Restaurants
The event will change to an in-restaurant event in 2022. Visit the restaurants between April 22 and May 1 to sample these one-of-a-kind SPAM® delicacies developed just for events. 7-Eleven, Aloha Pizzeria, Appetito Craft Pizza and Wine Bar, and Banzai Burger are some restaurants offering delicious spam delicacies.
