Control and Coordination in Plant

Control and coordination is the ability that shows the corroborative use of the different parts of the plan to respond to a particular stimulus.

Control and coordination on plants have been one of the important parts of the plant as it controls the movement of the plant using plant hormones.  Several chemical substances are used t in this control and coordination system in the plant. Control and coordination help to promote growth to the plants as implants have been affected by the different natural stimuli like weather, touch, light and many more things. Coordination implants provide the ability for the various parts of the plant to run smoothly and efficiently. Control and coordination are done through the hormones or the phytohormones which plays a great role in the plants’ life cycle.

Definition Control and Coordination in Plant

The control and coordination of plants refer to the activity with the help of chemical substances which are considered as plant hormones or phytohormones. The movement of the part of the planet because of different stimuli such as gravity, water, chemical, light. Touch and many other things.  These Plant hormones have controlled the movement of the plant.  There are several types of movement in the plants such as tropic movement and nastic movement which have been controlled by several hormones named Auxins, Gibberellins, Cytokines, Abscisic acid.  Plants are required to be controlled and coordinated as plants need a smooth way to have the ability to use their different parts together and efficiently.

These Phytohormones have the ability to control the movement of the plant.   Naturally, plant hormones refer to the signal molecules which are produced within the plants and it controls the growth and development of a plant.  Regular organ size, defense, stress tolerance and reproductive development have been controlled by these hormones. Auxin hormones help to coordinate the size and growth of the plant base doing the different tissues on the basis of auxin concentration. Gibberellin hormones help the seeds and the buds to break their germination. It also lengthens the stems of the plant. Leaf growth, fruit and flower development has been done by this hormone.  Plant rapport has been influenced by these plant hormones. Cytokines help in the growth of the cells and leaf sensation. Abscisic acid helps to inhibit plant metabolism and seed germination

Role of the phytohormones in the Control and Coordination in Plant

There are two types of control and coordination that have been found in the animal’s body but in plants, there is only chemical control and coordination have been noticed. However, chemical control and coordination are considered as the hormonal changes which have been done through the phytohormones. There are four hormones that exist in the plants which are auxins, gibberellins, cytokines, and ethylene and abscise acid. These Hormones have been discussed in the above area of the study.  Phytohormones have to promote the growth of the plants and their movies caused by different reasons.

Every functionality in the plant body has been depending on the hormonal activities such as the growth of the plant, seed germination, leaf elongation and many more. Transportation of the food and water with vital minerals is also an effective way which is related to the control and coordination of the plant. It is the reason phytohormones are effectively associated with the different functions of the plant body.

Importance of Control and   Coordination in Plant

Control and coordination have been important parts of the Plants as it controls the movement of the plants. It promotes the growth of plants. Control and coordination are very much required for the survival of a plant.  Control and coordination have been done through the phytohormones which have been regulating the plants and their movements such as tropic movement and nastic movement.  Control and coordination are important for the plant as it enlarges the cell and elongates within the plant.

These Hormones have also helped information of root and cell division within the plants.  Auxin hormones help in making the parthenocarpic fruits or the seedless fruits that have been found in the grape, banana, papaya, tomato and many more. Gibberellins help in the formation of the male flower on the female plants. It also increases the fruit size.  Cytokines have promoted the growth of the plant and ethylene helps in the ripening of fruits and also promotes growth.  Ethylene helps in the flowering of fruits like pineapple. Flowering and seed development have been done by the Abscisic Acid.  Chemical coordination and controls help to avoid such stimuli and help the plant to show the positive and negative responses towards the light, water, gravity, chemical and touch.

Conclusion

Control and coordination have been vital activity for any living organization as it helps to maintain the growth, size and different aspects.  However, control and coordination have played a great role in the plant’s life cycle. There are several hormones such as Auxins, Gibberellins, Cytokinins, Abscisic acid which maintains the growth of the stems, roots, leaf enlargement, and flowering and in making seedless fruits.
