SSC MTS Salary After 7th Pay Commision
The compensation offered for SSC Multitasking positions have grown by almost 20% after the 7th Pay Commission’s adoption. SSC MTS Salary Perks and Benefits
Candidates who pass the SSC MTS exam and are appointed as SSC Multi-Tasking Staff are additionally entitled to several bonuses and privileges in addition to the standard salary and benefits. The following incentives and bonuses are given to SSC Multi-Tasking Staff and their monthly payments.

Eligibility for SSC MTS
The Staff Selection Commission will administer the SSC MTS exam in three phases: computer-based, physical, and descriptive. The exam will only be open to those who meet the SSC MTS Eligibility requirements. Candidates must meet the minimum requirements established for eligibility to be considered for the SSC MTS recruitment. The following details all of the SSC MTS eligibility requirements:
1. Age Limit – Candidates must fall within the age range allowed by the SSC for the MTS position. The age restriction for MTS is 18 to 25 years (Applicants born not before January 2, 1997, and not later than January 1, 2004). Information regarding the relaxation of the age limit is given in the following table:

2. Nationality – The nationality requirements that must be met are as follows:
- A candidate must be an Indian citizen,
- A Nepalese subject,
- A Bhutanese subject, or
- A subject of Nepal.
- A Tibetan refugee candidate who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, to settle is also qualified to take the SSC MTS exam.
- Candidates of Indian descent who have immigrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar) to settle permanently in India will also be considered to take the SSC MTS exam.
3. Education Qualification – An important consideration in evaluating a candidate’s eligibility for the SSC MTS exam is their score on the SSC MTS qualification exam. Anyone who has completed the 10th grade is eligible to apply for the SSC MTS test. Candidates taking the 10th-grade exam may also complete the SSC MTS application. During the Document Verification, candidates for the 10th grade must present the pertinent documentation.
4. Physical Standards – Candidates must also meet specific physical requirements established by the SSC to take the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff exam. Individuals with specific disabilities can also apply for the exam if they meet the SSC MTS physical test requirements.
