iii. The ‘Instruction Page’ has detailed instructions for completing the online application. Before making any entries or selecting alternatives, the candidate should carefully read the instructions.

iv. When completing the on-line application, candidates should take great care to provide accurate information.

BEFORE SUBMISSION OF STEP-I AND STEP-II, THE Applicant CAN EDIT THE INFORMATION. It is not possible to change the form once it has been submitted.

v. Candidates are not needed to send copies of their online forms or any other documents to OIL, either by mail or in person.

vi. It is recommended that candidates submit only one online application per position. If he/she submits numerous online applications, he/she must make sure that the web registration with the higher “Application Sequence Number” is complete in every way.

vii. Applicants who submit several application forms for a position should be aware that the OIL will only consider the online application with the highest “Application Sequence Number.”

viii. Candidates must keep their email address and phone number recorded in the online application active until the recruiting process is completed. Only the candidates’ registered email address/mobile number will get notifications from OIL. As a result, candidates should never give out their email addresses to anyone.

The following is a step-by-step procedure for submitting a recruitment application form:

 Step 1 (REGISTRATION/SIGN-UP):

i. Candidates should go to https://oil-india.com/Current_openNew.aspx for further information. and go to ‘Recruitment of Officers in OIL’ and click the APPLY ONLINE option.

ii. When signing up, candidates must first select the position for which they are applying, then enter their personal information, including a valid email address and phone number.

iii. The candidate must correctly fill out all necessary information on the enrollment page, such as personal information, contact information, and so on.

iv. After completing Step I (Sign Up), an email/message including the candidate’s “Application Number”/User name and “Password” will be sent to the candidate’s registered email address/mobile number. Before continuing, candidates should double-check that their email address and phone number are correct.

STEP 2 (FILLING OUT THE APPLICATION FORM):

i. After registering, candidates must fill up their basic information (address), qualifications, eligibility, and experience, as well as upload a photo/signature and scanned copies of applicable certifications.

ii. Scanning instructions for photographs, signatures, and certificates:

Candidates should follow the steps below to upload a digitized (digital) picture of their portrait and signature, as well as any required certificates. Only jpg/jpeg image is permitted, according to the applicant:

• Photograph Image: A recent passport-size color photograph on a light background (not older than three weeks) must be used. Look directly at the camera with a neutral face.

The scanned image’s size should be between 50kb and 200kb in jpg/PNG file only.

• Signature Image: The applicant must sign on white paper with a black ink pen, and the signature can only be signed by the candidate and no one else.

• Other Certificate: Scanned necessary certificates for EWS/SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen in PDF/JPG/JPEG format only. The size of the file must be between 50kb and 1000kb.

After you’ve uploaded your photo, signature image, and any necessary certificates (if applicable), click the “Submit” button, and your application will be submitted, with the message “Your application has been successfully submitted” appearing on the screen.

iii. Candidates should have the following documents available to upload throughout the online application process:

• A copy of a recent passport-size colorful photograph that has been scanned.
• Signature that has been scanned.
• Caste/Disability Certificates, EWS Certificates, and Ex-Servicemen Certificates in the above-mentioned format (if applicable).
• Candidates who match the eligibility standards may register for more than one position. Candidates in this situation will need to register and apply for each position separately.

STEP III (APPLICATION FEE PAYMENT ONLINE):

i. Candidates should double-check the form using the preview feature before submitting it, and then go to the Make Payment option. DO NOT CLICK THE REFRESH OR BACK BUTTON ONCE THE PAYMENT PORTAL HAS OPENED.

ii. How to Make an Online Payment in the Portal:

• Choose an online payment method.
• Make an online payment using a credit or debit card or Net Banking, and save the transaction number for future use.
