  • OIL reserves the right not to hold a GD/GT if there are insufficient candidates. Wherever GD/GT is not held, the personal interview will be given a 15% weighting.

iii. Applicants applying for the position of “Senior Security Officer” as shown in table B are chosen.

IN GRADE B, DETAILS OF POSTS/VACANCIES/EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/AGE LIMIT WILL BE BASED ONLY ON THE PERSONAL INTERVIEW.

iv. Only those candidates who pass Phase I, i.e. the CBT, will advance to the next level of the selection process, i.e. the GD/GT and Personal Interview.

v. Candidates will be placed on a merit list based on their aggregate weighted marks from the Computer Based Test (CBT), Group Discussion/Group Task, and Personal Interview, as determined by the weightages.

vi. Candidates who pass the Computer Depending Test (CBT) would be summoned in a 1:5 ratio for the GD and PI based on their CBT scores (CBT).

vii. Candidates who have been provisionally selected will be subjected to a Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME). Only once the tentatively selected candidate(s) has been pronounced physically fit by OIL Hospital will he/she be finally picked to join OIL.

viii. Because testing and decision will be dependent on the information provided by candidates, it is critical that applicants provide accurate, complete, and correct information. The provision of incomplete, incorrect, or false information will result in disqualification, and OIL shall not be held liable for any consequences resulting from the provision of such incomplete, incorrect, or false information.
