NPCIL Recruitment 2022 – Eligibility Criteria
- Must be minimum 18 years of age and a national of India
- Should have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in BE/B Tech/B Sc or 5 years Integrated M Tech in any of the 6 disciplines of engineering – Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation and Civil.
- The applicant must have Qualified GATE in the same discipline of engineering as the degree.
- The applicants in their final year are also eligible to apply provided that they submit the proof of degree completion on/before November 30,2022.
- The Upper age limit of the applicants must be as provided in the table given below:

NPCIL Recruitment 2022 – Salary
During Training Period
A monthly stipend of Rs. 55,000 and one-time book allowance of Rs. 18000 will be provided to the ETs during the training period.
On Appointment as an Executive Trainee
If the candidates successfully complete the training period, they will then be appointed as a Scientific officer/C and their pay would be Rs 56,100 in the pay matrix. In addition to this, they would be subjected to receive the following:
- 34% of their pay as Dearness Allowance (DA) (Rate subjected to fluctuations depending upon the decision of govt.)
- Several other allowances like travel allowance, house rent allowance, site location allowance, professional update allowance and leave travel allowance etc.
- Employee Benefits and Miscellaneous Facilities like Encashment of leaves to avail medical facilities for self as well as dependents and education facilities to the children etc.
- Reimbursement of Mobile Phone Charges, Electricity Charges, Newspaper Charges, cable TV Charges, professional institution membership fees and Canteen Subsidy.
- Incentives based on the performance
- Loans and advances (subjected to interest) for a variety of purposes.
- Several other retirement and social security benefits like the provident fund, Gratuity, Insurance, Benevolent fund etc.
- Provision of Ex-gratia to the family members of the selected candidates in case of death while in service.
NPCIL Recruitment 2022 - Application Form Fee
The application form fees for NPCIL Recruitment Form is Rs. 500 for General, OBC and EWS category and there are no charges for the ex-servicemen or applicants who belong to the SC/ST Category.
How to Apply for NPCIL Recruitment 2022?
Step 1: Fill the application form available online on the official website of NPCIL. The candidates would be required to fill in all the basic details such as name, DOB, Category, Email, Contact info etc. and other relevant details such as the Gate Exam registration number and the score in GATE Exam in any 2020, 2021 or 2022.
Step 2: Once the applicant fills in all the required details correctly, an activation link is generated and the same is sent to the applicant across mail.
Step 3: On receipt of mail, the applicants must activate their accounts by processing the link received by them via mail.
Step 4: Once the activation is done, the candidates can proceed to the final step of registration by logging in using their ID and password and putting up all the details relating to their educational qualifications and work experiences in a specified sequence. The applicants need to start by clicking on “Educational Qualifications” and keep proceeding further by clicking on “save and next”. The details will be asked in the below given sequence:
