Headquartered in India’s New Delhi. In addition to the African island nation of Mauritius, MTNL offers services in the Indian metropolises of Mumbai and New Delhi. Up until 1992, when the telecom industry was opened to other service providers, it held a monopoly in Mumbai and New Delhi. Its motto is “Transparency makes us different.” Currently, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited owns all of the company’s equity. 3.28 million people were customers as of June 2021. Additionally, it is a fully owned subsidiary of a major public sector organisation.

Note: Calling of Volunteers for one post of “Chief Technical Officer (CTO)”on deputation to MTML (Mahanagar Telephone Mauritius Limited), Mauritius.
Please find enclosed herewith the Office Memorandum and Annexure (Application Form), for calling of volunteers for one post of Chief Technical Officer (CTO) on deputation to MTML, Mauritius. This is for wide circulation among eligible officers in your organizations / units.
The candidates, who have already applied earlier for the aforesaid post, may need to apply again as a fresh, if they match the criteria(s) as mentioned in the enclosed OM.

MTNL Recruitment 2022 - Eligibility Criteria
MTNL is looking for qualified and experienced professionals on deputation basis, from amongst the existing MTNL absorbed ITS officers,DoT recruited MTNL /BSNL absorbed /recruited Officer(s) of the rank of DGM (Regular) or above as well as ITS officers working in MTNL / BSNL / DOT its PSU(s), to take-up the challenging and result oriented assignments in MTML, Mauritius, a 100% subsidiary of MTNL.
The eligibility requirement of the officer is as per detail given below:

| Essential | DoT ITS Officers of the rank of D.G.M. in the Junior Administrative Grade / Non Functional Selection Grade in the Level-13 of Indian Telecom Service Group ‘A’ or above OR MTNL / BSNL Absorbed ITS Officer(s) / DoT recruited MTNL / BSNL absorbed / recruited Officer(s) of the rank of DGM or above on Regular Basis having a minimum of 15 yrs experience out of which at least 3 yrs in GSM Network with thorough knowledge of 3G} / HSPA} / LTE along with experience in Radio part including Microwave/OFC etc. |
| Desirable | The desired candidate should be B.E. (Electronics or Electrical) preferable with degree in MBA. |
The date of notification will be considered as a reference date, for age & other eligibility criteria(s) for the aforesaid post.criteria(s) for the aforesaid post.
- Additional requirement: The officer must know driving and must have a valid Driving License.
MTNL Recruitment 2022 - Period of Deputation
Period of Deputation: The deputation period shall be initially for three years governed by MTNL Foreign Deputation Rules 2006 and further extension shall be as per prevailing MTNL Rules.

With reference to the Office Memorandum notified vide MTNL/CO/Trg/MTML Deputation/2017/384 \& 385 dated 01.12.2021 wherein the last date for submitting the application for ONE POST of Chief Technical Officer (CTO) on deputation to MTML Mauritius through proper channel to Deputy General Manager(HR), MTNL CO, was within 30 days from the date of notification i.e. $0.12 .2021.
The last date for submission of the application from willing MTNL absorbed ITS officers, DOT recruited MTNL / BSNL absorbed / recruited Officer(s) of the rank of DGM (Regular) or above as well as ITS officers working in MTNL/ BSNL/ DOT\& its PSU(S) through proper channel has been further extended upto 28.02.2022.
