Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited also denoted as (MRPL), is a Phase 1 Miniratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Department of Petroleum and Natural Gas. MRPL is located in a beautiful hilly area, north of the city of Mangalore, in the Dakshina Kannada District of Karnataka State (India). 15.0MMTPA (Million Metric Ton per year) Refinery has a flexible design with complex second processing units and high flexibility processing Crudes for various APIs, delivering a variety of quality products.
MRPL Refinery is capable of producing almost a full range of petroleum products such as Naphtha, LPG, Motor Spirit, High-Speed Diesel, Kerosene, Aviation Turbine Fuel, Sulphur, Xylene, Bitumen and Pet Coke and Polypropylene.
MRPL’s 440 KTA Novolen gas-phase Polypropylene Plant using Zeigler Natta catalyst is capable of producing a complete range of homopolymer markers.
MRPL uses Aromatic Complex, a petrochemical unit capable of producing 0.905 MMTPA for Para Xylene and 0.273 MMTPA for Benzene. This Beautiful Complex is located in the Mangalore Special Economic Zone (MSEZ) and is fully integrated with the MRPL.

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited Recruitment 2022 – Age Limit
A 27-year limit on unconditional category (UR) and Economically Weaker (EWS) candidates. The closing date for determining the legal age will be 28/05/2022. Rest only for the OBC (NCL) / SC age limit will apply only to post-reserve posts.
In addition to the above age limit mentioned above in the UR / EWS / OBC (NCL) / SC category, People with a Benchmark Disability (PwBD) in the 40% disability category are entitled to 10 (ten) years of rest. The retirement age for former employees is similar to that of the Government of India.
