Recruitment to EIL is done on the basis of the GATE examination and its scores. The candidates should have a valid GATE score if they want to get recruited in EIL through the GATE exam. A total of 75 vacancies have been announced in the Chemical, Electrical, civil, mechanical as well as instrumentation disciplines. Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the GATE 2022.
What is the Eligibility Criteria for EIL Recruitment 2022?
The candidates are required to qualify Tech./Bsc(engg) with minimum marks of 65%. Candidates must have appeared in GATE 2022.
What is the Age Limit for EIL Recruitment 2022?
Given below is the maximum age limit for different categories as on 01.07.2022 :
General – 25 years
OBC (Non-creamy layer) – 28 years
SC/ST – 30 years
PWD (General) – 35 years
PWD (OBC-NCL) – 38 years

Here is the selection process for EIL Recruitment 2022
The candidates will be selected on the basis of the marks obtained in Graduate Aptitude test in engineering (GATE 2022). After the exam, a group discussion and interview will take place. Those candidates who are graduate engineers or final year students who have appeared in the GATE 2022 are eligible to apply. Candidates are required to qualify the GATE examination. Candidates will be selected on the basis of GATE 2022 marks in the given disciplines :

- Mechanical
- Electrical
- Civil
- Instrumentation
What is the Salary Package for EIL Recruitment 2022
When a candidate gets selected for the post of management trainee construction role, he will be under training for one year. He will receive a stipend of Rs.60000/ every month along with accommodation as well as transportation. However, Rs.60000 along with Rs.15000 will be paid in case accommodation and transportation are not provided.
After one year, the salary will be around Rs. 17.2 lacs per annum. This will include performance related amounts and superannuation benefit.
If a candidate gets shortlisted for the role of management trainee (others), he will receive the similar amount for one year as the management trainee construction does. However, the annual salary will be Rs. 16.8 Lacs per annum.

Step 1. Visit the official website and login to EIL recruitment portal, i.e, http://recruitment.eil.co.in/
Step 2. Click on the recruitment of management trainees link.
Step 3. Select ‘post to apply’.
Step 4. After this, click on the registration details. Then fill the registration form. After the submission of registration form, a registration no. will be provided. Note down that no. for future references.
Step 5. Candidates must provide accurate details. In case a candidate provides wrong details, the application will get rejected.
