DRDO Recruitment 2022- Qualification
Candidates must meet the qualifying criteria as of the advertisement’s closing date. Candidates must hold a First Class degree certificate from an accredited university. Candidates must have the required experience in the appropriate field, as specified in the column “Qualifications & Experience,” and must have verifiable proof to prove it. The essential qualifications/experience listed are minimal minimums, and mere possession of them does not qualify an applicant for a personal interview.
Weightage will be assigned to higher qualifications depending on the following conditions:
(a) The weightage for higher qualification is equal to research experience and is supplied as follows:
(i) Postgraduate Engineering Qualification: 2 years of weightage
(ii) Engineering Doctorate: 4 years of weightage
Note: The ME/M. Tech dissertation or Project/Dissertation/Thesis in the case of a Doctorate Degree in Engineering must be in a discipline relevant to the requisite area of experience for the offered job.
(b) If a candidate(s) possesses both I and (ii) above, the weightage of the higher degree will be granted, subject to the point above.
DRDO Recruitment 2022- Eligibility Criteria
A maximum weightage of up to 3 years will be given for work experience as a Research Fellow / Research Associate / Project Assistant, etc. (for each completed year of experience), and in the case of such candidate(s) holding a ME/M. Tech degree, a weightage of one year will be given for experience subject to the note above. The education time should not coincide with the job experience period.
The weightage, however, is just not automated. It will be determined by the relation of the candidate’s higher degree and research with that required by DRDO.
DRDO Recruitment 2022- Age Limit
Age Limit For the applying Candidates as on end date of issuing the advertisement is as follows:
- Scientist ‘F’ – not > than 50 Years of age
- Scientist ‘E’ & ‘D’ – not > than 45 Years of age
- Scientist ‘C’ – not > than 35 Years of age
Relaxation in upper age limit according to rules of the Govt. are as follows:
a) Up to 10 years for Divyang/PwD applicants – The maximum age, including age relaxation, should not exceed 56 years.
b) The upper age limit is relaxed by up to 5 years for serving Civilian Central Government employees working in posts in the same line or allied cadres. It can be developed that the service now rendered in a specific post will be helpful for the effectual outflow of the responsibilities of the advertised posts.
c) The upper age restriction is relaxed for ex-servicemen, including Ex-SSCOs/ECOs, according to current standards.

DRDO Recruitment 2022- Application Form Fee
Male candidates from the general, OBC, and EWS categories must pay a non-refundable, non-transferable application fee of Rs. 100/- paid online only. For SC/ST/Divyang and female applicants, there is just no application cost.
How to Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2022
a. Applicants must sign up online at the RAC website (https://rac.gov.in).
b) Following successful registration, candidates may login before the advertisement’s closing date to complete the application form online. Candidates must submit the appropriate certificates, pay the needed money, and then lock the application.
c) All serving candidates, whether permanent or temporary, working in government or government-owned organizations must upload a signed declaration in the format provided on the website stating that they have informed their Cadre Controlling Authority (CCA) in writing that they have applied for the position in RAC, DRDO. At the time of the interview, candidates will be expected to provide a copy of the verification of their correspondence with their employer regarding their application for the desired position. Candidates should be aware that if RAC receives a notification from the employer denying authorization to the individual seeking the position, their candidacy will be canceled.
d) Candidates should also save a copy of the online recruiting application once submitting it.
e) Only applications that have been locked/finalized in every way will be evaluated.
f) If a document is written in a language other than English or Hindi, an English or Hindi transcript must be provided, otherwise the document will be refused.
Candidates must submit their applications online along with a legible and sleeker folder that includes scanned copies of certificates for Date of Birth (DOB), important and higher educational qualifications with the percentage of marks – duly supported by mark sheets, experience claimed in the column pertaining to the work-related history of online application, document/certificate in support of all pay drawn, and a recent passport size color photograph – not exceeding 30. Each attachment’s maximum file size should not exceed 500 KB, and it must be readable when printed. The applicant may do so by scanning the certificate in greyscale at 200 dpi.
