Qualification for BARC Recruitment 2022
A certificate or degree from a reputable university/board, including a 10th, 12th, Diploma, or Graduate degree or a relevant degree, is required.
- Candidates applying through GATE must have a Bachelor’s degree of the related discipline defined by GATE.
- Candidates with a B.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Bioscience/Geology are eligible.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 60% on their Bachelor’s degree.
- Candidates holding a 5-year integrated engineering degree (B.Tech./B.E.+ M.Tech.) are eligible too.
- Candidates currently in their last year of qualification exams are eligible too.
What is BARC Eligibility Criteria?
Candidates seeking BARC Recruitment 2022 must meet the age requirements specified in the authorized notification. The constitution provides for age relaxation for candidates. The following are the maximum ages for various groupings.
- Candidates in the General Category must be no older than 26 years old.
- Candidates from the OBC category should not be older than 29 years old.
- Candidates from the SC/ST categories must be under 31.
- Candidates who are dependents of those slain in the 1984 riots are exempt up to the age of 31.
- Candidates aged 31 who lived in the Kashmir Division of Jammu and Kashmir State between January 1, 1980, and December 31, 1989, are eligible.
- Candidates from all castes who are physically challenged (PWD) are granted an age relaxation of ten years.
BARC Selection Process 2022
The BARC Online Exam and Personal Interview will be part of the BARC Recruitment 2022. Whether they apply through GATE, all candidates must take the BARC 2022 exam. Candidates will be invited for a Personal Interview after qualifying and meeting the stated cut-off.
The final decision will be based on the online exam results and the personal interview. Following the final selection of candidates, a medical examination will be held.
The BARC 2022 test is a computer-based online exam with 100 multiple-choice questions for 300 points (3 marks per question). There will also be a one-point penalty for incorrectly marked answers. The online examination will last 120 minutes.
BARC Salary Package for 2022
Candidates selected for the scientific officer position will be placed in the 7th Central Pay Commission pay matrix at Level 10, with a starting salary of INR 56,100.
Candidates will be entitled to Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Transport Allowance in addition to a basic salary each month.
Other allowances include air travel leave, children’s education allowances, professional update allowances, and a Contributory Health Service Scheme or equivalent for self and dependent family members.
What is the Application Form Fee for BARC 2022?
After successfully applying for BARC Recruitment 2022, an Unreserved (UR) (Male) must pay Rs. 500 in application fees. Unreserved (UR) (Female), Other Backward Classes (OBC), SC/ ST, and Physically Handicapped applicants do not have to pay any application fees and are exempted from paying any fees towards application.
How to Apply for Bhabha Atomic Research Centre Recruitment 2022?
Step 2: Click on the option to apply online & fill out the required details like name, date of birth, mother’s name, and e-mail address. Candidates should use caution while filling out the information at this point because it cannot be changed afterward.
Step 3: Candidates will obtain an OTP on their registered cellphone number and email address after successfully enrolling. Candidates must input this OTP to activate their accounts.
Step 4: The candidates must complete the application by accessing & logging in to the Candidate’s Login.
Step 5: Include a current passport-sized image (4.5cmx3.5cm) particularly in JPG format (less than 50 kb) as well as a signature scanned copy (2cmx4.5cm, particularly in JPG format with a size less than 20 kb).
Step 6: Once the application form has been completed with the picture & signature being uploaded, candidates must pay the cost of an online application using net banking/ credit card/ debit card.
Step 7: The Candidates must ultimately submit their applications after paying the costs. If in case, the candidate desires to make changes to his or her application, he or she may make changes before completing the Final Application.
Step 8: Candidates who wish to apply through GATE are asked to fill up the GATE information following the announcement of GATE results.
Step 9: Keep a soft copy version of the online application form and the fee payment acknowledgment for future use.
