There are 30 districts in Karnataka that are run by the Government of Karnataka, elected by the people of the state. The Governor is the head of the government of Karnataka and formally picks the chief minister and their cabinet. There are two parts to Karnataka’s bicameral state legislature. Government services – Karnataka Janasevaka Scheme
In Bengaluru, the State Government of Karnataka implemented the Janasevaka programme after the success of the pilot project. This was launched on the occasion of the 66th Kannada Rajyotsava. Janasevaka will bring 56 government services right to the doorstep of all citizens of the state for free.
The programme was initially launched in Malleswaram constituency, and is expected to be launched across Karnataka in 2022.
