The Harsha-Vardhana is considered as the last ruler of the Pushyabhuti dynasty. The dynasty is also succeeded by the hand of the king named as “Harshavardhana”. The younger brother of “Rajyavardhana” was “Harshavardhana”. The empire of the Pushyabhuti dynasty covers the north as well as north western parts of the Indian Territory.  The capital of the Pushyabhuti dynasty is “Sthaneshwar (Modern Thaneswar)” including the Kanyakubja (modern Kannauj) in the northern part of India. Rulers of Vardhana dynasty

Prabhakar Vardhana has been considered as the founder as well as the first ruler of the Pushyabhuti dynasty. The king Prabhakar Vardhana was made this capital in Thaneswar in the B.C. After the death of the first king in the year 605 B.C, the eldest son named as Rajya Vardhana became the ascendant of the Pushyabhuti dynasty throne. The younger brother of the Rajyavardhana was Harsha Vardhzna, who was succeeded by the dynasty by the hand of this king. The first king of this dynasty is Naravardhana is ruling in between (500 – 525 CE), after end of this king the dynasty is ruling by Rajyavardhan in between (525 – 555 CE), after the end of this king comes the Adityavardhan who is ruling in between (555 – 580 CE). In addition, after the death of the king the Prabhakar- Vardhana was sit in the throne and ruled  in between (580 – 605 CE), after the end or death of the king, the Rajya- Vardhana was the ruler and ruled  over (605 – 606 CE). Finally, at the end of this king the last and successor of this dynasty came from the hand of Harsha- Vardhana who ruled over (606 – 647 CE). The last king of this dynasty is considered the most successful ruler of this dynasty.

Ruled part of Northern India

The Pushyabhuti dynasty covers the north as well as north western parts of the Indian Territory.  The capital of the Pushyabhuti dynasty is “Sthaneshwar (modern Thaneswar)” including the Kanyakubja (modern Kannauj) which ruled part of northern India. In the east the dynasty covered the Kamarupa in the east and in the south it covered the Narmada River. The younger brother Rajyavardhana defeated the Alchon Huns and conquered the part of Thaneswar which is considered as the state of present Haryana. The king Rajyavardhana also conquered the part of Kannauj which is presently called Uttar Pradesh.
