Swaraj means self-rule or self-governance. Mahatma Gandhi found the concept of swaraj during the British regime. The dogma of swaraj was to give them the actual meaning of self-rule and to empower people. Political expression talks about the execution of democracy in its true form right from the basic level, where there is a public representative at every stage. It is also about the whole development of a nation where everyone is treated equally. At the personal level, swaraj is widely connected with the capacity for unemotional self-assessment, constant self-purification and enlarging self-reliance or swadeshi. Swaraj is the supremacy of the people based on real moral authority.
Meaning of swaraj
Swaraj means the privilege given to an individual. Swaraj stressed governance, not in a centralised way but in a decentralised way through the community and individual building.
