Introduction
This study shows rock requirements in human’s daily life and how much it is important for their environment. Rocks are made by a mixture of dissimilar gains. It helps to build houses, it also helps to cement and is very useful to build a building. Different types of rocks are used for different kinds of jobs like many rocks are used for iron ore, other types of rocks which are used for jewelry, cosmetics, to make roads, and many more. Rocks are very much demanding everywhere but not all kinds of rocks like moon rock, which is very demanding in the whole world and it is also a very rare kind of rock but this study shows that description is only Igneous rocks.
1) Definition of rock
Rock is a solid mass of environmental substances; it is also a natural matter which is composed of different kinds of minerals of solid crystals that have been combined into a solid wedge. Rocks are very important for the environment, and they have types of composition which are easily available in the environment. It helps to make iron ore which is very helpful to do industrial work.
2) Different Types of rocks
According to nature rocks are three types, sedimentary, metamorphic, and igneous. These three types of rocks are very important for earth’s environment.
Igneous
These types of rocks have many types or a variety of uses. The main importance of these rocks is to make the stone to build the statue and buildings. It is also used for making cosmetic products and toothpaste. This igneous rock is used for making blocks of cement, writing chalks, bath scrub, curbstone, and building material.
Sedimentary
Sediments are formed by sediments and accumulation. It has three categories like clastic sedimentary rock, organic sedimentary rock, and chemical sedimentary rock. Clastic sedimentary rocks are formed from the lithification and accumulation of mechanical debris. Chemical sedimentary rocks are formed when the dissolved material from the solution takes place.
Metamorphic
These types of rocks are formed when the rocks are put through from high pressure, high heat generation, and high minerals of fluid. It is used for making marble, sand, and iron ore which are raw materials for any manufacturing industry.
3) Definition of Igneous rocks
Igneous rocks found from the magma which is also called molten rock cool then criticize, when the volcano covers the surface. It has many compositions, depending on the molten rock or magma. Magma is developed underground on the upper mantle or lower crust because of heat generation.
4) Types of Igneous rocks
Igneous rock is divided into two different categories extrusive and intrusive.
Extrusive
Extrusive rocks are formed from the lava of the surfaces and lava means the magma which comes out from underground. The magma of this surface has a faster cooler rate surface for forming the fine-grained igneous rocks. Examples of these extrusive types of rocks are basalts, obsidian, and pumice.
Intrusive
Another type of rock is intrusive which is also formed by the magma after it solidifies and cools from the surface of the earth. In this type of rock, the cooling rate is very slow but it hardens nature which is very useful many times, and also it is coarse-grained.
Apart from the above two, it has another three common types of igneous rocks: basalt, dacite, and andesite.
5) Characteristics of Igneous rocks
Igneous rocks are rocks where lava should be turned into a solid form. It can be above the earth or below the earth. This characteristic is common for all igneous rocks. It is the rock that is formed when the crust of the earth melts into the magma form. These rocks have many properties which make them very different from other rocks like the culling time of these rocks, the magma of these rocks, and many more. This type of rock does not contain any kind of fossils. These rocks do not react with acid components and they are not layered also. They also can be mixed with two or more mixtures of minerals. These types of rocks can be found in dark and light colors both. These types of rocks could be either coarse or glassy. Igneous rocks are contained randomly in their interlocking crystal materials.
Conclusion
This article concludes that rocks are very important for the earth. It is also found that igneous rock is very important for building big structures and statues but this type of rock is not very common on the earth. From the above discussion, it can say that the Rock’s importance in human life is very helpful and it is also important for balancing the future of human life. This study describes the demand for the rocks and how useful it is. It also concludes that the igneous rock does not contain the fossil and is not affected by the acids. This study is formatted in such a way that it is easy for various readers to understand the concept of Types of Rocks.
