The origin of the name Indian is figured to have arrived from Christopher Columbus when he was on voyage to find the Indian subcontinent. Who are red Indians?

Red Indians are indigenous or native Americans of the North American region who used to live and dwell there before the arrival of Europeans. Sioux

The Great Sioux Nation inhabited themselves on the Great Plain lands of America. They can be further categorised into various subdivisions of clans: such as the Lakota, the Nakota, and the Dakota, each of these clans express a unique variety of the Sioux dialect. 

Apaches

The Apache are a community of indigenous and native red Indian tribes who inhabit the arid areas of Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and the northwestern part of Mexico. They were initially hunters, heralds, and cultivators. A significant part of their traditional food plan is benchmarked on corn, beans, animals like sheep, and goats. Like the Sioux.

Cherokee

The Cherokee are a group of native and early settlers who used to inhabit the southeastern coastal region. In prehistoric times, they are said to have migrated from the Great Lakes area to the south of the Appalachian Mountains range. This population of red Indians in America used to preside in what is today the region from North Carolina to Alabama. 

Cheyenne

Similar to the Sioux, the Cheyenne are known to inhabit the significant plains, but specifically in the northernmost area, ranging from the Black Hills of South Dakota and extending to Colorado. This division of the red Indian tribes are also categorised into groups and are friendlies of the Arapaho group and the Sioux clan.
