The only way to sustain their life was either through hunting and gathering which was practiced by Bushmen boys and men and another option was through art which was practiced by the Bushmen women. The Bushmen huts and shelters were also constructed and reconstructed by the Bushmen women only. The women from the Bushmen community were very talented and skilled in drawing and making and creating handicraft products. These products were at times auctioned in many exhibitions and events. The Bushmen community followed an egalitarian society where everyone is treated equally without any kind of discrimination.
