NEUTRALISATION OF ACIDS

In neutralisation reaction acid and base undergoes chemical reaction and form new products called salt and water

The idea has provided that acid, base and salts are supposed to form a chemical reaction with the connotation of neutralisation. In this context, both H+ ions and OHions are supposed to be combined in order to generate a confined formation of water. In order to generate this contact, the pH level of both the neutralisation and acid bases and salt is required to be equal as reflected by 7. Hence, with this discussion and evolution, a brief description has been further provided in order to understand the exact Regulation and accommodation of these two components and its chemical reaction.

Concept of acid bases and salt

Acid bases and salt can be defined as a profound substance of water solution. This particular solution looks like blue Litmus as well as a reddish neutralised base that tastes sour. Concept of acid bases and salt is provided with the idea of base. When a substance is in its aqueous formation providing this sort of test and the texture,  it is called base.  In this case acid bases and salt are confined with the natural substance of salt.  This solution has been more confined as salt is not affected by the litmus in terms of its aqueous formation.

Describe the process of Neutralisation with the help of an example

According to the information, it has been identified that the process of neutralisation can be undermined as the reaction between acid bases and salt.  In this context, this process is used to formulate water and salt. For example: when hydraulic acid and the base formation of sodium hydroxide are combined together, it has been observed that this combination is supposed to be formed as sodium chloride. Sodium chloride is provided in this matter as a reaction between these two, which is basically a formation of salt and water. Therefore, to describe the process of neutralisation with the help of an example, sodium chloride can be mentioned as this particular reaction between the earlier discussed components.

Name the source from which Litmus solution is obtained

It has been identified that lichens are the component that can be taken in account as the name of the source from which Litmus solution is obtained. As per the chemical substance and its profound accommodation, lichens are that particular aspect from which Litmus solution is observed to be extracted. In this context, this particular component is mostly used in order to determine whether the solution is in its natural, basic or acidic form. Lichens can be identified as having a mauve colour that is distilled in water.  However, in case it is combined with any acidic solution, it is compelled to turn red.

Idea of neutralisation

Neutralisation is basically a chemical reaction. When the acid base and salt is confined in terms of formulating both acid and the base, there is a chemical reaction which has been underlined as neutralisation. The neutralisation takes place in this particular reaction as the formulation of both acid and base, which is salt, generates the neutral product. Hence, the idea of neutralisation if provided with the chemical reaction between acid base and salt in order to generate water.

Reaction of neutralisation

According to the information, the reaction of neutralisation takes place when acid bases and salt are confined with each other at a quantitative level. Since this particular quantity of both textures is similar to the production of neutral products, the phenomenon of neutralisation is convenient to the ground.

Examples of neutralisation and acid base

In terms of the collision of acids, bases and salts,  the neutralisation in between can be resulted as having no excess amount of hydrogen or that of hydroxide in the solution of water. It can be more precise with an example such as; hydraulic acid (HCl) and sodium hydroxide (NaOH) react with each other, which produce sodium chloride (NaCI) as well as water as the neutralisation.

Conclusion

The above discussion has taken place in order to address the idea of neutralisation in the regards of salt bases and acid. The entire briefing has been provided with the conviction of neutralisation that has been undertaken as a chemical reaction. With this discussion it has been identified that this chemical reaction happens when acid and its base product, which is salt, combine with each other in order to generate water, the chemical reaction takes place. Additionally, Lichens has been mentioned as the name of the source from which Litmus solution is obtained.
