It is explicitly derived from living organisms or organic materials that are known as biomass. Hence, it suggests that Bioenergy is being used to generate transportation fuels, products, electricity, and heat. 

Identification of biomass to energy 

To generate biofuels, the components of biomass such as plant and animal waste, living organisms, and organic materials, are required to go through a certain process of extraction and formation. This particular process is supposed to be generated to create bioenergy.  The systematic process can be reflected as biomass to energy. Sources of biofuels

As it can be identified that the sources of biomass and bioenergy can be derived from certain types of residues, industrial, animal, crops, forestry crops, along with municipal solid waste and sewage. In terms of biofuels, the sources can be identified as animal fat, sugarcane, rice, wood chopping, canola oil, corn oil, beetroot, palm oil, sunflower oil, rapeseed oil as well as soybean oil. These materials are the different transformation procedures yielding to get biofuel fractions. 

Advantages and disadvantages of biofuels 

Biofuels are added up with certain advantages and disadvantages in terms of their utilization and application.  it can be beneficial for reducing the burden of single energy resources by applying for. Usage of biomass for energy 

By using forestry residues, human excrement, agricultural residues, animal dung, wood and such crop wastage, renewable energy biofuels are being constructed. In brief there are certain areas and places where these types of biomass are being used as a form of the primary source of energy. it is provided with a drawback, that suggests that due to the organic production system, it bears a high production cost that is not affordable for most of the industries. For example; Ethiopia has used 92.9% biomass as combustible waste to create their energy supply. Additionally, Tanzania, Congo, Nigeria, Nepal, Kenya, Sudan, Zimbabwe, and such countries are overly using biomass to generate their electricity and energy supply. There are 20 countries to be precise that are in the contemporary run of using biomass for energy
