Human Anatomy

Human Anatomy is the study that initiates as a branch of science, where there is discussion and understanding of human body functioning and the structure.

Anatomy is one of the most vital subcategories or branches of biology that concentrates on the study of the structure of a body. In the case of human anatomy, it is termed as the study that concerns the importance of learning about the structure of the human body. Human Anatomy is a great scope for the learner that wishes to pursue science and medicines. In human anatomy, there is also an inclusion of the skeletal system which stands out as the mainframe or structure of the study of human anatomy. The formation of the skeletal system further includes the bone as the base material for the construction of the human body.

Human anatomy

The human anatomy module introduces the basic functioning and structural system of the human body. The person who introduced the study of human anatomy is Herophilus. He has also been termed the father of medicine and human anatomy in anatomy is the study of the body which can include any living being starting from humans to animals. The study of human anatomy includes studying elements like the nervous system, urinary system, lymphatic system, cardiovascular system and RBC. The learning of human anatomy provides the basic foundation for the understanding of the human body. Human anatomy is a vital branch of biology that ensures a person learns about the fundamentals of the human body. If a person wishes to pursue medical science or medicines it is best for the person to undergo the learning of Human anatomy.

There are different parts of the study of human anatomy which can be described as:

  • Regional anatomy

  • Systemic analogy

  • Microscopic analogy

Each of the human anatomy subcategories has a different position of the human body associated with it. For instance, regional anatomy includes the organisation of body defined parts like the pelvis and abdomen, neck and head, back and trunk. While on the other hand for systemic analogy there is an inclusion of the evaluation of the systems of the human body like reproductive, endocrine, circulatory, urine, respiratory and urinary system. In the final subcategory of human anatomy, microscopic analogy deals with the structure of the microscopic organs and tissue that are unavailable to the naked eyes.

Skeletal system

The skeletal system is the outline or the centralized framework of the human body that comprises organs, connective tissue, tendon, cartilage, bones and ligaments. This overall structure of the human skeletal system is also termed the musculoskeletal system. There are a ton of changes that undergo in the human body including changes in the bones to physical and mental changes in the human anatomy. The main form of a well human skeletal system consists of ligaments, bones, joints, and tendons. Among the further categorisation of the skeletal system, bones play a vital role in protecting different organs of the human anatomy.

The skeletal system can be parted into 3 formats:

  • Exoskeleton

  • Endoskeleton

  • Hydrostatic Skeleton

In the human skeletal system, the endoskeleton is the basis of the formation of the structure of human anatomy. The human skeletal system has various functions to be fulfilled like the protection of the internal organs, supporting the body, facilitating movement, production of blood cells, storage and release of fat along with minerals.

Bone

Bone is the hard and rigid organ of the human body, which aids in the formation of the skeletal system. There are different kinds of bone numbers that can be noticed in human adults and children. During the infant stage of a human body, there are 300 bones that can be found while in adult humans there are 206 bones. The journey of 300 to 206 bones takes place for the construction of strong and rigid bones together in the human system. Bone is crucial as it protects the brain, heart, lungs and other vital organs of a human body.

Conclusion

The study of the human body has much segregation which can be categorised into histology, physiology, embryology, and anatomy. In the study, there is a detailed discussion on human anatomy. Through the learning and analysis of human anatomy, there is even a pivotal aspect of the skeletal system of the human body and the bone structure. The significance of the study of human anatomy is that it allows a person to understand, learn and analyse the structure, functioning of the body. Through the study of human anatomy, there can be a measure to eliminate diseases and improve the immune system.
