A Short Note On Central Nervous System

An integrated part of the human nervous system that is reliable for controlling several actions in daily life is the Central Nervous System (CNS).

In this assignment, one brief description of the central nervous system is provided. Different functions of the nervous system help the integrated parts of the body. The functions include the external and internal parts that are controlled by the Central Nervous System. Basically, from moving the body parts to controlling the right level of hormone secretion that is dependable for different actions in the human body. Hence, in this article, the peripheral nervous system and its functions have been discussed in the context of the associated organs. For better knowledge, different diseases that can possibly happen in the nervous system have been elaborated.

Brief about Central Nervous System

The brain and the Spinal cord are the components of the Central Nervous System in the human body. Billions of neurons are building the CNS for the establishment of the communication system. Different actions in the human body are regulated by the Central Nervous System in day-to-day life. Regulations of different systems that control the actions in the human body for serving the body parts in making performances are reliable on the Central Nervous System. Without the CNS every gland and part in the human body will stop working and the consequences can be deadly.

The function of the central nervous system

The following are the actions of the Central Nervous System in maintaining the body to keep active and healthy in regular life.

  • From biological gestures to transmitting signals to the separate glands for secretion of hormones, retaining memories, and feelings are important positions for humans.
  • Sending commands to different parts that are making actions in the human body is an essential function of the Central Nervous System.
  • Processing of different information in the human body through the brain is a vital role played by the CNS that makes humans memorise things; perform diverse activities in day-to-day life.

Relation between the brain and spinal cord to the Central Nervous system

The spinal cord and brain are the associated elements of the Central Nervous System that help in sending signals to perform different actions. The brain is guarded by the skull and the spinal cord transmits signals from the backside of the brain to perform all the activities for the CNS. The findings can be stated as the brain and spinal cords help in maintaining the actions and develop the collaboration among the human body to act properly.

Discussion about the Peripheral Nervous System

Different branches of associated nerves that consist in the brain and spinal cords are the elements of the Peripheral Nervous System or PNS. Moreover, the branches or divisions of the nerves that are connected with the spinal cord are making the PNS system activated in the human body. PNS is cooperating with the CNS to transfer signals and information through the brain and spinal cord. Hence, the Peripheral Nervous System can be declared as the support system for the Central Nervous System.

Functions of Peripheral Nervous System

The Peripheral Nervous System acts as a supporter in the human body in association with the Central Nervous System. Both Nervous systems in the human body are dependable on each other to work smoothly in the development of the different actions. The following are the preferable actions played by the PNS.

  • Automatic actions- different autonomic functions like breathing, digesting, heart rate are controlled by the Peripheral Nervous System for the development of the natural functions in the human body.
  • Controlling the Voluntary movement in the human body is also part of PNS’ function.
  • Memory and learning are referred to as the function of PNS in the human body.

Discussion about the main organs of the peripheral nervous system

The PNS directs to regions of the nervous system beyond the brain and spinal cord. It contains the cranial, roots and branches of the spinal nerves. The bundle of the nerve fibres is also the integrated part of the Peripheral Nervous System. Hence, the subdivision or the branches of nerves of the spinal cord and brain are the integrated part of the PNS. Different cells, tissues are part of PNS in the development of the appropriate nervous system that acts with the Central Nervous System. It makes the established nervous system activities and regulates the neutral actions of the human body properly.

Conclusion

Conclusively, the nervous system in the human body plays a great role in the management of human life cycle development. Different activities performed by the CNS and PNS make the human body act naturally. Moreover, the brain acts as the storage of different information that helps the CNS to construct different actions that are based on memorising for humans. Actions such as digestion, metabolism, functions related to the reproductive systems are relying on the different hormones that are controlled by the Central Nervous System.
