Through his expert negotiation, he was also able to get released to the entire family of Sahu, who was being held captive in Delhi by the Mughals. He also managed to calm down the strife that had existed for so long between the Mughals and the Marathas. It was because of his expert tactics that the coming kings were able to look after the welfare of the people and the expansion of the kingdom.
