Which Mirror is Used in Headlights of Cars At What Position is the Bulb Placed in it and Why?

Answer: The light or bulb is placed in the main focal point of the concave mirror. The major reason for such bulb placement is to provide the light to a larger area with better focus. In the car’s headlight, concave mirrors are used with the position to focus on the larger size. Placing the bulb in the focus of the concave mirror, the light from the source is distributed in every direction. Along with this distribution, it sends a long beam of light to provide clear visibility. On the road, light coming from all orders can distract the source. Hence the concave mirror with a focused bulb transforms the light from parallel to the principal axis on the road.
