The pictures that are framed when the light beams seem to meet at a specific point after the reflection from the mirror is known as a virtual image.
An erect picture is the one that shows straight up. It is framed because of the real convergence of light beams, in contrast to the virtual picture. This image resembles the object in direction, i.e. image has the same direction as the object.
