What is the Relation Between SI and CGS Unit of Force?

Answer : A push or a pull is considered to be a force. SI unit of Force is Newton, and it’s represented by the letter N in the S.I system. As the velocity of an item increases, so does the rate of acceleration. Meters per Second Squared is the unit of measure for acceleration.

C.G.S. and S.I. units of force are dyne (D) and newton (N).

dyne and newton’s relationship—

1N = 1 kg x 1 m s-2

= 1000 g x 100 cm s2

= 105 g cm s2

= 105 dyne.

Thus, 1N = 105 dyne.
