What is the Major Difference between Static Electricity and Current Electricity?

Answer: The main distinction between static and current electricity is that in static electricity, the charges build up on the inductor’s surface while they are at rest whereas the mobility of the electrons inside the conductor is what generates the current electricity.

Any kind of material, whether a conductor or an insulator, can be used to develop static current.

Only conductors can produce current since electron mobility is what causes electric current.
