What is the Circle of Illumination and How is it Different from Earth’s Axis?

Answer: The circle of illumination is considered to be that line of division that separates the night’s darkness from the day’s light. It is an invisible line that separates night from day. The axis of the earth runs from the northern to the southern extreme point of the earth. However, the circle of illumination does pretty much the same but with a different purpose. On the autumn and spring equinoxes, the illumination circle cuts the latitudes into half.
