Answer: The incident light is maintained at a consistent frequency and intensity. Slowly increasing the positive voltage applied to the anode, the photocurrent is measured by that value. The saturation current is the photoelectric current’s maximum value. Saturation current means that the anode instantaneously captures all the photoelectrons that the emitter produces.
