What is Muscular Force?

Answer. The definition of muscular force lies within its name. Simply, the muscular force can be defined in the following way.

Muscular force: The contact force applied to an object with the help of muscles is known as muscular force.

Example: If somebody stretches an arrow with the string of a bow, then he/she is applying muscular force on the arrow as well as the string to some extent and storing potential energy to it which will be turned into kinetic energy when the string is released and will give it a forward direction.

Contact Force: Contact force is the force that starts its act only after the contact of the force producer and the object on which force is applied.
