Answer: When light from an object is reflected off of a mirror, an image of the thing is formed at the point where the light rays from the object cross. Real and virtual images are the two categories of images that are available.
When a beam of rays coming from a point source experiences a change in direction due to refraction or refraction, and when the rays that have been refracted or reflected converge or appear to diverge from another point, the second point is referred to as an image.
