What Happens if the Galvanometer and cell are Interchanged?

Answer: If we talk about the Wheatstone bridge which is formed by P/S = Q/R. It is a balanced position in which all resistances are balanced. Now the galvanometer is out in the middle connecting them to measure the deflection as the current flows in it. If we swap the galvanometer with a cell, the galvanometer will not be showing any deflection. The balance point will also remain unchanged in the bridge. No current will be flowing through it. So, swapping will not have any effect on the bridge.
