Answer: The Collinearity of a group of points in geometry is the quality of their being located on a single line. A set of points having this attribute is referred to as collinear (sometimes written colinear). In a broader sense, the word has been applied to aligned items, that is, those that are “in a line” as well as “in a row.”
When the lines of forces that act in a system are parallel, this is referred to as a collinear force.
