Mention any Two Limitations of Dimensional Analysis

Answer: Dimensional analysis is described as the principle of comparing the relationship between different physical quantities by finding the dimensions of these physical quantities. Dimensions do not rely on numerical multiples or constants and each physical quantity in this world can be described with the help of fundamental dimensions.

Two limitations:

Formulae expressed with trigonometric functions, log functions, exponents, etc. cannot be derived using dimensional analysis.

You cannot determine the exact sign whether ‘+’ or ‘- “linking more than one term in a relation.
