Answer : Resistors usually act several functions like reducing current flow and lowering the voltage in the circuit. Colour code statistics have been developed to determine the value of 220 Ohm resistors. The colour bands help identify the resistor’s value and tolerance level very quickly.
The electronic circuits use resistors to restrict current flows for adjusting signal levels and termination of transmission lines. The 220 Ohm resistance is denoted by colour coding of Red- Red, and Black. The colour coding for Red is numbered as 2, while Black is zero. Thereby, the tolerance level for Gold will be 5%.
