How is Charge Quantized?

Answer:- The charge of any object is an integer multiple of the elementary charge, according to the charge quantization principle. The charge can only take on a limited set of discrete values, according to the quantization of charge. Electric charge is quantized, as demonstrated by Millikan’s oil-drop experiment. The quantization of charge takes place because only integral/necessary number of electrons can be transmitted from one body to the other body.
