The conventional current is defined as charge per unit time transported in a certain direction. In physics the electron flow is termed as electron current. Electrons flow from the negative end to the positive end. Conventional current behaves as if positive charge carriers cause current to flow. So, it is evident that the conventional current flows from the positive terminal to the negative terminal. In conventional current, the type of charge carrier is not important. In convenient current flow, the flow of electrons is assumed as the opposite flow of protons.
