Define the Principal Focus of a Concave Mirror

After bouncing off a concave mirror, sunlight beams that are perpendicular to the primary axis converge at a given location on the principal axis. The major focus of the concave lens is this spot.

Convex mirrors may be used for a variety of purposes.

1) Convex mirrors were utilized in automobiles’ rear-view mirrors since they may diverge a light beam and produce a simulated picture.

2) To disperse light across a broader region, convex mirrors are employed as a reflector in street lighting.
