Who invented Trigonometry ?

Ancient Greek astronomer Hipparchus invented Trigonometry.

Answer: As per the scholars, Trigonometry was invented by ancient Greek astronomer Hipparchus. He was the first ever scholar who formulated a table of chords. 

As noted by scholars, the credit for first calculating the movement of the zodiac signs is also given to Hipparchus. Moreover, the credit to introduce the spherical triangle with the trigonometric ratios is given to the ancient mathematician Menelaus. The credit to compile and publishing the work of ancient Greek astronomers such as Hipparchus and Menelaus is given to Ptolemy.
