  • The ratio of the sum of all values to the total number of values in a data set is known as the mean.

Formula:   

  • When the data are sorted in either ascending or descending order, the median is the midway value.

(i) The median of an arranged data set is the (n+1 / 2)th term when the number of terms in the data set is odd.

(ii) When a data collection has an even number of terms, the median is
