There are two bags A and B. A contains 6 Red Flowers and 3 Pink Flowers. Where as Bag B contains 2 Red Flowers and 7 Pink Flowers. One Flower is chosen from a Bag Randomly. What is the Probability that the Flower chosen is Pink

Answer: Total number of Red Flowers = 6 + 2 = 8 Red flowers

Total number of Pink Flowers = 3 + 7 = 10 Pink flowers

To find the probability that the random flower chosen from a random bag is Pink.

It is given by, (Number of pink flowers /Total number of flowers) = 10 /18 = 5/9

Thus, the probability of getting a pink flower from a random bag is 5/9 .
