The LCM of Smallest Two Digits Composite Number and the Smallest Composite Number is

Answer: The smallest two-digit composite number is ten, while the smallest composite number is four, as we all know.

Divisors of 10 are: 1, 2, 5 and 10

Divisors of 4 are: 1, 2 and 4

We obtain the following as a result of prime factorization:

4 = 1 × 2 × 2

10 = 1 × 2 × 5

Therefore, the LCM of 4 and 10 is:

2 × 2 × 5 = 20

Hence, the lowest two-digit composite number has an LCM of 20 while the smallest composite number has an LCM of 20.
