Answer: Assuming the time taken by Rasheb to reach the destination be= t hrs, hence the time taken by Ramesh to reach the destination will be = t-1/2 hrs.
Distance covered by Rasheb = 60t km
Whereas distance covered by Ramesh = 75(t-1/2)
60t = 75(t – 1/2)
75/2 = 75t – 60t
75 = 2*15t
75/30 = t
t = 2.5 hrs
Hence time taken by Rasheb = 2.5 hrs and time taken by Ramesh = 2 hrs. Hence, they reach the venue at 8:30 p.m.
