Is zero a complex number?

Whether zero is a complex number or not, can be proved with the equation of real number and imaginary no. a + bi.

Answer: Complex numbers are those real numbers, which can be represented in the form A + Bi. Here A and B are the real numbers and ‘i’ is the imaginary number √-1. 

Let’s assume that this imaginary number is a complex number a + ib, where b = 0. 

As, any imaginary number is a complex number, then any real number is also considered a real number. Hence, we can say that zero (0) is also a complex number.
