To find the set of rational numbers, the criteria is to represents the two numbers in their rational form. considering the example of expressing rational numbers:

Hence to find the rational numbers between 1 and 2, we need to express them in their rational form:
The rational forms are
1= 1X10/10= 10/10
2= 2X10/10= 20/10
Hence, considering the rational form 10/10 and 20/10, the five rational numbers between numbers 1 and 2 are 11/10, 12/10,13/10,14/10,15/10.
